Dirbato Office by JUPITER JAZZ Inc. (Japan)
Jupiter Jazz designed a new office for Dirbato in collaboration with SIIM (graphic design) and tonel.Inc (construction management). Dirbato is a Japan-based IT consulting firm with a mission to "Bring joy tothe world through technology.
" The goal of their new office project was to create a space that embodies this mission and excites people about their technology. To achieve this, we designed a digital experience that transforms the office into an interactive environment, allowing guests to engage with the company's corporate identity. While one-third of the floor is reserved for individual work, the rest is designed as a welcoming and engaging space for both internal and external communication. We identified several key areas around the entrance with the potential to amplify the corporate identity— let’s start with the reception area.
The fully automated reception desk welcomes guests and guides them into the designated meeting room, creating a memorable arrival experience through a light installation. This installation is projected onto the glass surfaces of each meeting room using 1.8mm-thin LED films, which remain transparent, allowing people inside to see outside.
Another unique feature of the meeting rooms is the adjustable lighting system. With adjustable color temperatures (1800K–12000K) and brightness levels, users can find the perfect setting, from a clear blue sky to the warm glow of candlelight. This lighting technology not only supports workers' well-being but also helps reduce energy consumption. The open area features organic materials like wood and marble, creating a comfortable space for employees to relax and communicate. Additionally, a specially blended fragrance is used throughout the office to help transition between relaxation and focus, enhancing the overall sensory experience.
In conclusion, Dirbato’s new office not only reflects their expertise and mission, but also creates an innovative and engaging experience that foster collaboration, well-being and creativity. Thg integration of advanced technology, sustainable design elements, and sensory experiences makes the office a dynamic and interactive space, while embodying the company’s commitment to the future of work.
